Our usual scheduled activities are mostly on hold over the Christmas period, but there are still things going on behind the scenes. December is the month that an extra amount of shopping is done for the families helped by El Samaritano, and this year, due to the generosity of some of our members, we were able to buy slipper socks, coloured pencils, pens and sweets for 22 children. We also added a few extra treats, like tins of biscuits to the monthly shop.
The Adapt choir also travels round to a number of different places in the area every year to share some Christmas spirit. A regular visit is to the Villadelmar residence to regale them with carols in both English and Spanish.
