Group Leader: Cristina Mena
This group has participated in the San Pedro Carnival since 2009 when we participated as ‘The Guiris’ which loosely translates as typical Brits aboard. Socks and sandals, hanky on head and being bright red from too much sun.
We have continue to partake in this annual event as Robin Hood and his merry men, chickens, Egyptians, Chefs, Surgeons, Mexicans and Crusaders in 2016 which won 3rd prize. The theme for 2019 is The Prawns and Fishermen’s Guild of the Mar Menor. We can’t always win but we can take part and soak up the atmosphere.
ADAPT participates in the annual San Pedro carnival parade in February/March with a fun topical entry chosen by the Carnival Group, rehearsals start in November. If you would be interest in getting involved with this group then please email ADAPT.firstname.lastname@example.org in the first instance.

We are honoured each year by being invited to take part in the Carnival. As usual it was a great success and the ADAPT association was well represented by a contingent of ´ Mexicans´ . […]23rd February 2015
