Adapt charity money

Here is an illustrated account of how we raise our charity money and how it is spent

Money raised by our annual pantomime …

… is spent on buying monthly supplies for needy families, distributed by the El Samaritano association.

The little brown coins that we collect every month with our “Tonne of Money” project …

… is spent on buying books for local school libraries and stationery for school children from poorer families.

Money raised by our monthly raffle goes to two charities nominated annually. This year we are supporting the Stroke Association and the Flamenca Rosa dragon boat team of ladies who have survived breast cancer …

… with some extra money going to Casa Cuna in Cartagena, residential home for very young children …

Finally, our long-standing second-hand book stall which makes a small charge for books, raises money for occasional Adapt activities chosen by the stall organisers.
